Know why most beginners drop their balls after 2weeksSummary: (READ more to know WHY)<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6QKIY14agIxVABsq2C9Zx3AhSG4tis7GYadw0Mh4jZ-x-jpuq1UY7ZWVkuXrxF_NNZ4LB1zZ_E5jRiVsTjOWz-FcHZCtpdeww2RTDXLnIchqK1FkUi5iIZeYyJoyhg9gFTRS-XzaOgRJP/s1600/shock1-300x224.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6QKIY14agIxVABsq2C9Zx3AhSG4tis7GYadw0Mh4jZ-x-jpuq1UY7ZWVkuXrxF_NNZ4LB1zZ_E5jRiVsTjOWz-FcHZCtpdeww2RTDXLnIchqK1FkUi5iIZeYyJoyhg9gFTRS-XzaOgRJP/s1600/shock1-300x224.jpg" /></a></div>
<br /><br />*Having 1 tarantula leads to quitting after 2weeks (For most)<br />*Its better to buy MANY cheap tarantulas instead of ONE tarantula but expensive<br />*as a beginner buy atleast 5 tarantula slings (it doesnt have to be assorted, it can be 4pcs Curlyhair and 1pc of your choice)<div>
<br />Most beginners think that if they buy a tarantula it must be an inch or in its Juvenile stage because they think it is more fun or more easy to take care, Well my opinion on that.... Yes it is true but that is also the reason why most beginners quit on this hobby after 2weeks! (Too fast)<br />wondering why??? well the answer is:<br />The fun thing in this hobby is to see how our tarantulas develop from a size of a grain to a size of your dinner plate! :D but since most beginners are buying juvenile tarantulas, they dont know that it takes 3weeks+ (Depends on the specie) before a progress can be achieved (Molting)</div>
<div>
<br />So i suggest to those beginners reading this and would like to stay for long on this hobby to buy at least 5 tarantula slings (Buy Curlyhairs -its cheap yet docile). Im not saying this to rip off your wallet or to destroy your piggy banks. Im saying this because you need to FEEL the excitement when you are actually seeing your tarantula Progress! having 5 SLINGS will give you better chances to witness these "progress" (Do some stuffs that you can say wow! :) sorry but i will not tell you what things are those ;) Just keep your tarantulas and you will discover it yourself!<div>
<br />*I assume that as a hobbyist you respect your tarantula's behavior, and you know that there is no such thing as "Tamed tarantula"<br />always bear in mind that they run or fight if threatened!<br /><div>
<br />Best tarantulas for beginners to Choose from:<br />I consider: EASY TO TAKE CARE OF, Price, Looks, attitude,</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>Brachypelma Albopilosum (<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/brachypelma-albopilosum.html">Honduran Curlyhair</a>)</b><br />- this tarantula is one of the cheapest yet docile specie available in our hobby, adding them on your collection is a must.</div>
<div>
<b><br /></b></div>
<div>
<b>Brachypelma Smithi (<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/brachypelma-smithi-mexican-red-knee.html">Mexican Red knee</a>)</b><br />- Behind its fascinating colors and docile attitude is a hair kicking habit :) i noticed that once it reached 4inches it tends to kick hair more often thats why i am no longer handling them onced they reach that size</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>Brachypelma Boehmei (<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/brachypelma-boehmi-mexican-fireleg.html">Mexican Fireleg</a>)</b><br />-This tarantula is one of the most popular tarantula for beginners because of its docile attitude and its colorful legs.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>Grammostola Rosea / Porteri (<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/grammostola-rosea-caresheet.html">Chilean rose tarantula</a>)</b></div>
<div>
- This tarantula is underated seing them in pictures can make you say that they are just normal tarantulas. But seing them personally will surely make you want this ;) They are docile and colorful but grows slow<br /><b><br />Grammostola pulchripes (<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/grammostola-pulchiripes-chaco-golden.html">chaco golden knee</a>)</b></div>
<div>
<b>-</b> This tarantula is docile and occasionally flick their hair when handled.<br /></div>
</div>
</div>
<div>

Misting is a process on where we are spraying water on substrates to make it wet and to raise humidity on the enclosure of our <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/">tarantula</a><br /><br />why we must mist/Spray water:<br />* Usually misting is need when our tarantula is on Premolt to aid her in molting.<br />
* To raise humidity<br />* To let our slings drink some water (For Juvies to adults, water dish must be provided)<br /><br />Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16160773733003141109noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3067681218316759674.post-27040830109229947192014-04-22T21:33:00.002-07:002014-04-22T21:54:33.227-07:00Basic setup for Brachypelma Species<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<b><span style="color: blue;"> </span></b><b><span style="color: blue;">NOTE: This guide is for Brachypelma Juvies upto adults </span></b><br />
<h3>
<b>Basic needs of your Brachy:</b></h3>
* Hide<br />
* Water Dish<br />
* Dry Substrate, Misting<br />
* Decorations =) <br />
<b><br />Hide</b><br />
Hides are essential on almost all Tarantulas, when they are stressed or threatened by us they only have two things in mind and that is Fight or Flee. You dont want your T to run outside its enclosure right? so better give them some hides to retreat when threatened.<br />
<br />
Coconut shell, Broken pot or anything will do as long as they can hide inside<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtDaQdGykXuCzPHZFfFh2fRHpu2p9vosYvUVfS9JMvL9iR_rtXAjeZJK6Eut-yvwFLMYMKHW3xKCEsPkk4ujmwtOEAb0VUT9zceCjq9ox8F0-NPH82xcerbXIto4x2UuGuTMT4By7UXLtN/s1600/setup+3.jpeg" />
</div>
<br />
<b>Water Dish</b><br />
<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/search/label/Brachypelma">Brachypelma </a>species loves to live in dry substrates which makes them rely on their food for water, so we need to provide them to water dish so they can drink if they need to and to avoid <u>Bad molts</u> which can cause death to our T. Water Dish also raises humidity in the enclosure of our tarantulas which aids them in molting.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjflYBUYoamWc2o3Rf2CPGuiEjKKzG67QNW_ltwTuTaW1Zz1uN4jLeHsiIfj3DMKIRwj2LX5N9RcCtEpFyi7636VUv99RpgYT9GNxI7ZYBIlLjjyqko02NxBY2NC9JGrRTDGyHL-bWc4jWK/s1600/setup+4+water+dish.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjflYBUYoamWc2o3Rf2CPGuiEjKKzG67QNW_ltwTuTaW1Zz1uN4jLeHsiIfj3DMKIRwj2LX5N9RcCtEpFyi7636VUv99RpgYT9GNxI7ZYBIlLjjyqko02NxBY2NC9JGrRTDGyHL-bWc4jWK/s1600/setup+4+water+dish.jpeg" /></a></div>
<br />
<b>Dry Substrate and Misting</b><br />
Almost all Brachypelma Species are found in mexico which has a cool to
hot climate so in setting up the enclosure for your brachys you need to
keep their substrate dry.<br />
although some Species needs to have a higher humidity try <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2014/04/misting.html">misting</a> the other side of its substrate<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiH3msoag-zpaOV45DJx1flTyzAkL09rFPXZtTytzlu_fX9s0ojTJOWhGVCZrxD9cBRUzKmbkpshFt9B1_dqfynLcJ874DZvlEs2J6Z8-7hm-fYdUDBKaqiIS-gedAIIjPSxqRpdPOb0J_o/s1600/yeah.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiH3msoag-zpaOV45DJx1flTyzAkL09rFPXZtTytzlu_fX9s0ojTJOWhGVCZrxD9cBRUzKmbkpshFt9B1_dqfynLcJ874DZvlEs2J6Z8-7hm-fYdUDBKaqiIS-gedAIIjPSxqRpdPOb0J_o/s1600/yeah.bmp" height="165" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<b>Decorations</b><br />
<b> </b>Of course we like to make the enlosures of our tarantula to stand out and be as attractive/cool as possible so we need to decorate it, common decorations used are:<br />
Bones,<br />
Skulls,<br />
Driftwoods<br />
Stones<br />
As of now we dont have this on our for sale Section, but you can find some on your backyard if none then just be creative!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcspWZ_lL0YP5S1K-zuYt_x8fBSdWdok0T0BDgIrs1QeXTmo5nbopfXa3Amlu161ARpf8wv23PVSI1TS9asnSJWo9Cin9MLLpWZL0bnyPn7C9JGApDF-VqI81-LhH_3D8u0hHv8Qgu0skb/s1600/setup+3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcspWZ_lL0YP5S1K-zuYt_x8fBSdWdok0T0BDgIrs1QeXTmo5nbopfXa3Amlu161ARpf8wv23PVSI1TS9asnSJWo9Cin9MLLpWZL0bnyPn7C9JGApDF-VqI81-LhH_3D8u0hHv8Qgu0skb/s1600/setup+3.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<b> BTW </b>i do not suggest this setup (too many branches Standing) Brachypelma species are <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/terrestrial.html">terrestrials</a> so they stay most of the time on ground not climbing like the <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/arboreal.html">arboreals</a><br />
<br />
<br />
Thats the basic needs of your brachypelma buddy, so Good luck! happy invert keeping! :3<br />

This tarantula is best for hobbyist who are new in keeping <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/arboreal.html">arboreal</a> tarantulas, Most who owns one of this spider observed that upon reaching a size of 2" above, this tarantula tend to display itself outside from its hide making it ideal for beginners (most beginners like to see their spiders)<br />

Although this is a verry interesting book it explains alot about various species of Tarantula. It does not explain much for the begginers though (for the experienced tarantula handler).<br />

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.1875px;">Known as the Cobalt Blue Tarantula, or more realistically a pet hole, this species tends to spend much of its time underground in self built burrows </span><span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">This 2.5 inch bodied tarantula with a leg span of 4-5 inches has to be one of the most beautiful, yet aggressive species of tarantula. While spiderlings, their overall color is a greyish blue. Adults on the other hand look dark brown-black at first glance. With the correct lighting you will see the legs have lovely blue sheen and the coxae is sliver. The males tend to be smaller and more brownish in color. Immature specimens are less blue and the abdomen is lighter in color.</span></span><br />

I used ripe mango as bait for these flies and they just cant resist its sweet scent then the plastic to catch them. I just folded it twice to give a circular opening for flies to get trapped. Then, I just tied the plastic to the stick and leave it for a while and wait for some Fruit fly (I tied the plastic so that the fly will get used with the plastic above him/her.<br />Then if some flies are in below the plastic slowly, lower your plastic and trap the fly :)<br />Then the last thing you should do is to Break its wings. One wing will do, it can no longer fly.<br />Then say Bon Appétit to your Tarantula =)Adminhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16160773733003141109noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3067681218316759674.post-76705814040620183632013-01-26T22:41:00.000-08:002013-01-26T22:41:13.652-08:00Why Tarantulas?<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span class="userContent">“WHY TARANTULAS?”<br /> <br /> pros:<br /> <br /> 1. You don’t need to walk a tarantula in the morning and at night.<br /> <br /> 2. No need to give it a bath. NEVER.<br /> <br /> 3. Tarantulas don’t shit on the floor and to anywhere else but inside their enclosure. You won’t even notice that they shit.<br /> <br /><span class="text_exposed_show"> 4. They don’t make loud noises. They don’t smell.<br /> <br /> 5. It’s OK NOT to feed your tarantula up to a month. Just leave them with a source of water.<br /> <br /> 6. Tarantulas don’t have lice and ticks though they are prone to mites. But mites are just fine in controlled population.<br /> <br /> 7. You don’t have to give them vitamins nor take them to the Vet.<br /> <br />
8. Tarantulas don’t take up much space in your house. Good pet
suggestion for yuppies, busy individuals, and for those who have a small
residence like me.<br /> <br /> 9. Very low maintenance. You don’t have to clean their tanks regularly.<br /> <br /> 10. Fulfilling.<br /> <br /> cons: (just to be fair)<br /> <br />
1. ADDICTING. Once started, you will then start dreaming of having all
the species available around which will lead you to impulse buying.<br /> <br /> 2. Impulse buying will surely minimize the “life span” of your pay check.<br /> <br />
3. Keeping tarantulas means keeping (breeding) different kinds of
insects like crickets (males’ chirps are irritating when place inside
the house); roaches (some roaches really stink like B. Lateralis); and
worms (which will make your mother and sister scream) because it’s not
practical spending a lot of money to buy feeders every week, or worst,
everyday.<br /> <br /> 4. Tarantulas won’t love you back. They won’t cuddle you nor play fetch with you.<br /> <br /> 5. You can’t train your T’s to do tricks like “sit”, “play dead”, or “kill him”.<br /> <br /> 6. Won’t guard your house not even your room.<br /> <br />
7. You will unconsciously be an instant ”basurero” when you have a lot
of T’s in your captivity. You will collect gravy dishes; tissue rolls;
deli cups; tree barks; branches; broken terra cotta; leaves; rocks;
pebbles; even plastic spoons because there will always be a possible use
for those junk. Yes, there will always be.<br /> <br /> 8. You wouldn’t allow anyone spray insecticides and air fresheners near your room. Good luck to mosquitoes and house roaches.<br /> <br /> 9. Your girlfriend, wife, or any special partner will be jealous to your inverts weeks after your first purchase.<br /> <br /> 10. People will avoid you because they’ll think you’re a weirdo.<br /> </span></span><span class="userContent"><span class="text_exposed_show"></span></span><br />

It is native to East Africa in dry Acadia scrubland regions of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda and can be found in deep burrows at the base of Acadia bushes. The venom from King Baboon Tarantulas are said to be more toxic than most other tarantulas, which makes it more qualified to be kept by experienced hobbyists, and not beginners.<br />

<br />
Poecilotheria Metallica (<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/poecilotheria-metallica-gooty-sapphire.html">Gooty Sapphire Ornamental Tarantula</a>) is the most beautiful specie (my opinion) because of its metallic blue color and some yellow on its leg. Plus, owning one of this is such an achievement =) because this dude is very rare that gives it a high price,<br />
<br />
The Gooty Sapphire Ornamental <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/">Tarantula</a> is native in india and can grow upto 6-7inch making it one of the best to display. It is so beautiful that others are tempted to touch it.. to let it crawl on them. But if you want one.. i am warning you to not to touch this one, because of its strong venom.<br />
<br />
<b>Tip: </b>All tarantulas that belongs to the "Poecilotheria" genus (Pokies) Has very Strong Venom!<br />

<h3>
<b>These are my top 10 recommend tarantulas for beginners! </b></h3>
So if you are new to the hobby better consider my top 15 list.
before i made this list, what i considered is their Looks, Temperament, size and their Price<b><span style="font-weight: bold;">.</span></b><br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></b></i><br />
<br />
<br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">1. <span style="font-style: italic;">Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens</span></span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/chromatopelma-cyaneopubescens-green.html">(Greenbottle Blue Tarantula)</a></span><a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/chromatopelma-cyaneopubescens-green.html"><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></a></b></i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/chromatopelma-cyaneopubescens-green.html"><img border="0" height="256" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KCvR8bZld3w/T9YUSoy6V9I/AAAAAAAAALs/fktvwu5FUOM/s320/gbb6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
This terrestrial tarantula is a good start for beginners since Gbb <i>(Greenbottle Blue Tarantula<b><span style="font-weight: bold;">)</span></b></i>
one of the most beautiful tarantula of all, and much easier to take
care unlike other beautiful species like Balfouri and P. metallica are
both "wallet terminators." Gbb can be bought today at around P1,200 only
plus this guy over here has good appetite! feed it and he will eat it!.
Although when its still a sling (spider ling), its speed is a bit fast
so try to move slowly every time you handle this guy.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />
</span><br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">2. </span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="font-style: italic;">Grammostola rosea</span></span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/grammostola-rosea-caresheet.html">(Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula)</a></span></b></i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/grammostola-rosea-caresheet.html"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi36rlaldRv2N9_jx4Jst0YWd5lIcUus5JiZvQinSKjwp5bSvYvsvOrZexJzIXdWTCrGVaJ-nr4-iuZ8LuhvZK_tiP8VYIxY0FLxMunNz47shQdbePFUYdtnizxfrcFbVMGLpJZT_HJQxXi/s320/rosea3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Grammostola
rosea or also known as "Chilean rose" are classic it is very docile and
calm that makes a good tarantula for beginners! Chilean rose tarantula
hates wet substrate and tends to avoid it. If their substrate is wet
they tend to hang up on their enclosures until it dries so better keep
your substrate dry! Aside from being docile and calm this tarantula is like Garfield - Loves to do nothing =)<br />
<br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></b><br />
</i><i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></b></i><br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></b></i><i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">3. <span style="font-style: italic;">Brachypelma smithi</span></span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/brachypelma-smithi-mexican-red-knee.html">(Mexican Red Knee Tarantula) </a></span></b></i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/brachypelma-smithi-mexican-red-knee.html"><img border="0" height="214" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3DQfClDTrpE/T9X2KF1fRAI/AAAAAAAAAKU/yn0tt3JkBgA/s320/smithi6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Well<span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span>have
you seen this guy on Television? well i do! i saw this on a commercial
when a girl is screaming, so i thought "wow this is cool! i can scare my
sister!" so that's how i started in this hobby hehe =) aside from i saw
it on T.V this tarantula has good looks! right?? aside from that its a
bit cheap pricing , the only thing i hate about this guy is that it
grows slow, but it can live for more than 20 years! (female)<br />
<br />
<br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">4.Mexican Redleg <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/brachpelma-emilia-mexican-red-leg.html">(Brachypelma emilia)</a></span></b></i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/brachpelma-emilia-mexican-red-leg.html"><img border="0" height="261" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WWNQcxI6s6k/T9b-SM_BIaI/AAAAAAAAASI/MODUH6yyKa0/s320/emilia2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Oh,
another tarantula from the brachypelma genus! actually many brachypelma
made it here on our top 15 list, Why? because its beautiful, all they
care is not you! only food and water! Joke! (no special requirments,
easy to handle and can be bought easily. I recommended this Redleg for
being Docile and and rarely flicks hair<i>.</i> This grows slow but has a long lifespan just like the Red Knee (B. Smithi) its easy to take care<i> </i>of
this guy, just give his water dish and food, The substrate a bit dry,
spray some water on the other half and let him choose his place =)<br />
<i><b><br />
</b></i><br />
<i><b>5.Brachypelma Boehmi <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/brachypelma-boehmi-mexican-fireleg.html">(Mexican Fireleg)</a></b></i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/brachypelma-boehmi-mexican-fireleg.html"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pWBKNstTKlg/T9bxj2tN4wI/AAAAAAAAAN8/PCy5ZRliRvM/s320/boehmi6.jpg" width="276" /></a></div>
<i><b>
</b></i><br />
What can i say about this dude? Actually i should have
put this guy on number 4 but i replaced it with Emilia since when it
comes to beauty Boehmi is better but this guy loves to kick some hair!
and i hate it xD but still this is a good Tarantula for beginners,
Catching some hair is part in the hobby =)<br />
<i><br />
</i><br />
<br />
<i><b>6. Brachypelma Klaasi <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/brachypelma-klaasi-mexican-pink.html">(Mexican Pink tarantula)</a></b></i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/brachypelma-klaasi-mexican-pink.html"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tND3Ud__u_o/T9b-eDSJvVI/AAAAAAAAATk/0Ud7ZAqzWRE/s320/klaasi.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<i><b>
</b></i>This tarantula has lovely pink color and good temperament its
docile but a bit nervous, its almost the same with boehmi, boehmi just
maded higher rank since boehmi is cheaper than this mexican pink<br />
<i><b><br />
</b></i><br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></b></i><br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">7. <span style="font-style: italic;">Grammostola pulchiripes</span></span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> (<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/grammostola-pulchiripes-chaco-golden.html">Chaco Golden Knee Tarantula)</a></span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></b></i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/grammostola-pulchiripes-chaco-golden.html"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-go1FuZGa4Go/T9XLSprhc4I/AAAAAAAAAGM/k6VD83B9waA/s320/chaco4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Chaco
golden knee is a classic tarantula, it had been a hobby in some time.
It makes a good pet since it is docile and calm and has beautiful
markings on its leg. This guy also has a good appetite but be careful
not to over fed it, sometimes Taratulas die when molting if they are
over fed. Golden knees can grow up to 8inches making it good to look at and can impress your guest at home!<br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />
</span></b></i><br />
<i><b><span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">8.</span>Grammostola pulchra <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/grammostola-pulchra-brazilian-black.html">(Brazilian Black)</a></b></i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SyKKecVElME/UOqHimFWpUI/AAAAAAAAAcA/5uOk4nIN2uA/s1600/pulc2.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="268" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SyKKecVElME/UOqHimFWpUI/AAAAAAAAAcA/5uOk4nIN2uA/s320/pulc2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Will you agree if i will tell you that "black looks good"?
well for me yes! when i was still a beginner one of the tarantula i
wanted to own is the Thailand black but since it's aggressive i tried to
find an alternative, and this Brazilian Black caught my eye! its a
beauty, has good size of 6 inches and aside from that it is Docile. its a
bit pricey but i assure you its price worth it and owning one wont make
you regret<i><b>.</b></i><br />
<br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></b></i><br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">9. </span><span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">Brachypelma albopilosum</span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/brachypelma-albopilosum.html">(Curly Hair Tarantula)</a></span></b></i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/brachypelma-albopilosum.html"><img border="0" height="215" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s8Wc59O7exo/T9XqasVAdvI/AAAAAAAAAIg/gx1L7YWANJs/s320/albo.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Well
this one is very common to all hobbyist because of its cheap price.
This tarantula doesnt have that good color combination but what i love
about Curly hair tarantulas is their Gold colored carapace they are
docile and easy to handle, Grows slow usually takes 2 years to be an
adult but has a long lifespan (female.) <br />
<br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></b></i><br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">10. </span><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Lasiodora parahybana</span></span><a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/lasiodora-parahybana-brazilian-salmon.html"><span style="font-weight: bold;"> (Brazilian Salmon Pink Tarantula)</span></a></b></i><br />

before i made this list, what i considered is their Looks, Temperament, size and their Price<b><span style="font-weight: bold;">.</span></b><br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"></span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></b></i><br />

This terrestrial tarantula is a good start for beginners since Gbb <i>(Greenbottle Blue Tarantula<b><span style="font-weight: bold;">)</span><span style="font-weight: bold;"></span></b></i>
one of the most beautiful tarantula of all, and much easier to take
care unlike other beautiful species like Balfouri and P. metallica are
both "wallet terminators." Gbb can be bought today at around P1,200 only
plus this guy over here has good appetite! feed it and he will eat it!.
Although when its still a sling (spider ling), its speed is a bit fast
so try to move slowly every time you handle this guy.<br />

Grammostola
rosea or also known as "Chilean rose" are classic it is very docile and
calm that makes a good tarantula for beginners!
<br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></b><br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"></span></i><i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"></span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></b></i><br />

(female)<span style="font-weight: bold;"></span><br />
<br />
<i><span style="font-weight: bold;"></span></i><br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">4.Mexican Redleg <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/brachpelma-emilia-mexican-red-leg.html">(Brachypelma emilia)</a></span></b></i><br />

Oh,
another tarantula from the brachypelma genus! actually many brachypelma
made it here on our top 15 list, Why? because its beautiful, all they
care is not you! only food and water! Joke! (no special requirments,
easy to handle and can be bought easily. I recommended this Redleg for
being Docile and and rarely flicks hair<i>.</i> This grows slow but has a long lifespan just like the Red Knee (B. Smithi) its easy to take care<i> </i>of
this guy, just give his water dish and food, The substrate a bit dry,
spray some water on the other half and let him choose his place =)<br />
<i><b><br />
</b></i><br />
<i><b>5.Brachypelma Boehmi <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2012/06/brachypelma-boehmi-mexican-fireleg.html">(Mexican Fireleg)</a></b></i><br />

<i><br />
</i><br />
<br />
<i><b>6. Brachypelma Klaasi <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/brachypelma-klaasi-mexican-pink.html">(Mexican Pink tarantula)</a></b></i><br />

Chaco
golden knee is a classic tarantula, it had been a hobby in some time.

<br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"></span><span style="font-weight: bold;"></span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></b></i><br />

Well
this one is very common to all hobbyist because of its cheap price.
This tarantula doesnt have that good color combination but what i love
about Curly hair tarantulas is their Gold colored carapace they are
docile and easy to handle, Grows slow usually takes 2 years to be an
adult but has a long lifespan (female.) <i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"></span></b></i><br />

Most
hobbyist would love to own a Goliath may you too would like one right??
so why? maybe because that it is big that it can grow up to 12inches.
Well if Size Matters, why dont you consider The Brazilian Salmon Pink
Tarantula? this guy grows fast and can grow about 10 inches (although
mine is only 8-9 inches) making this a good start. Others say that it is
considered that can be handled. but be carefull, it turns defensive
when reaching the size of around 6 inch so repect this dude. <i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />

The
redrump tarantula is also easy to take care, it has a beautiful color
red hairs on its abdomen and grows a bit slow just like the other
brachypelma species. This guy is beautiful but turns to aggressive to
defensive upon reaching maturity. so be carefull<br />
<br />
<i><b><br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"></span></b></i><br />
<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">12. <span style="font-style: italic;">Acanthoscurria geniculata</span></span><a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/acanthoscurria-geniculata-giant.html"><span style="font-weight: bold;"> (Brazilian Giant White Knee Tarantula)</span></a></b></i><br />

This guy is almost just lke nhandu chromatus although you can spot some differences if you will observe carefully. this is a fast growing tarantula and has a good appetite!<i></i><br />
<br />
<i><b>13. Nhandu Chromatus <a href="http://tarantulahub.blogspot.com/2013/01/nhandu-chromatus-brazilian-red-white.html">(Brazilian red and white tarantula)</a></b></i> <br />

This tarantula starts to be aggressive at 5i nches although this could
still be a good start since it has a good appetite and grows fast up to 7inches! well
if you are still a beginner i suggest owning some fast growing T's so
you wont get bored. Others get bored usually when they started to take
care of those slow growing tarantulas that take some months to exhibit
some activities.<i><span style="font-weight: bold;"><br /></span></i><br />
<i><span style="font-weight: bold;"></span><span style="font-weight: bold;"></span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></i><br />

This
is a fast growing tarantula with a beautiful greyish-black or brown
hairs, with long, pinkish hairs on the legs, chelicerae and some parts
of the body. it has a good appetite enabling you to feed your collection
as often. this is also a giant a and can grow upto 8 inches!<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />

<i><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">
</span></b>This dude is aggressive but still maded to our top15 list because of its appetite! This is a fast growing tarantula, </i>This species lives in very deep burrows which retain humidity, so I'd
provide as deep substrate as possible and keep it a bit moist. They can grow up to 7inches!<br />
